प्रदूषणाची समस्या दिवसेंदिवस वाढत आहे. हे लक्षात घेऊन आमच्या शाळेने ही समस्या कमी करण्यासाठी झाडे लावण्याचे ठरवले. मागील आठवड्यात शाळेत वृक्षदिंडी कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.
महिनाभरापूर्वीच तयारी सुरू झाली होती. सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांना, एका छोट्या पिशवीत एक झाड लावण्यास सांगण्यात आले. विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या आवडीचे झाड लावण्याची मुभा देण्यात आली.
आम्हा सर्व विद्यार्थ्यांना गेल्या सोमवारी सकाळी ७ वाजता रोप घेऊन शाळेत येण्यास सांगण्यात आले. ठरल्याप्रमाणे आम्ही सगळे शाळेत जमलो.
7.30 वाजता वृक्षदिंडीला सुरुवात झाली. वृक्षदिंडीमध्ये अनेक विद्यार्थ्यांनी झाडांची वेशभूषा केली होती. आम्ही ‘झाडे लावा, झाडे जगवा’, ‘वृक्ष वल्ली आम्हां सोयरी ‘ अशा घोषणा देत होतो. आमची वृक्षदिंडी पाहून ग्रामस्थही उत्साहात होते. गावातील फेरी पूर्ण करून वृक्ष दिंडी शाळेच्या मैदानावर आली. आम्ही नियोजित जागेत रोपे लावली आणि नंतर त्यांना पाणी दिले. आमच्या सर्व शिक्षकांनीही यावेळी वृक्षारोपण केले. ला
